SET DESIGN

For this feature, I aided in the design and build of key environments from the film. Each set was tailored to highlight the contrast between on-stage spectacle and off-stage vulnerability.

God Save the Queens follows four drag queens navigating personal struggles at a therapy retreat: an ambitious queen chasing her big break, a veteran comic grappling with aging in a youth-driven industry, and a feuding drag rock duo confronting their past. As they prepare for a high-profile talent show, the retreat becomes a backdrop for humor, rivalry, and self-discovery. Directed by Jordan Danger and featuring RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni, the film blends camp and comedy with a heartfelt look at the artists behind the makeup.
