About Samitra

Samitra (Sami) is a queer Persian-American creative director, producer, and strategist based in Los Angeles. She’s an all-around creative with a passion for raw story, unique vision, and pure art making. Working across music, film, events, and emerging tech, she defines direction, narrative, and user experience. Her background in design, production, and marketing uniquely positions her to lead end-to-end development, shaping ideas, positioning them, and carrying them through to an audience.

Rooted in LA, and deeply influenced by the city’s culture, diversity, and vibrant energy, Sami is guilty of bringing style, hype, and community into everything she touches. She’s a natural connector and host, and often considered the "glue" that holds the kids together.
